Friday we had a grand afternoon on the shoreline of Lake Superior watching the parade in Grand Marais. The streets were lined with families and friends and beloved canines all decked out in their red, white and blue fashion attire.
More pictures to come next week. Since our return from Wyoming, our internet connection has been pretty much non-existent. Don't know why. Steve has turned the antennae every which way but to no avail. So we called the guy. (Thanks for the # JM!) He came out Thursday and got things in motion. Next week the other guy comes out and hooks some other thing up. No more hot spot for us. We are going to be wireless in the woods. Please keep your fingers crossed and perhaps say a little prayer it works...
Had a great afternoon in Trout Lake yesterday. They had a great parade, too.

But today we are having lunch at the Chamberlain Inn in the town of Curtis. We've been told their parade is pretty fantastic. But guess what? It is going to rain on their parade! I'll have to take pictures from the car. The parade must go on our waiter informed us. :))
