So what are you doing these days?
I'm trying to teach myself how to make homemade bread, buns - anything with yeast. There probably isn't going to be a swimsuit season here in Michigan this year anyway, right Governor? (eye roll - If you're from Michigan, you know what I mean.)
I do love bread and I love the way the house smells when it bakes. And I love to eat it as toast for breakfast, sandwiches for lunch, garlic bread with a meal or homemade French bread pizza (which I've made with my granddaughter! :))
So we received a batch of ground beaver burger from a great trapper friend of ours. I didn't have any hamburger buns so I made some. We've never had beaver burger before. I was a leetle bit leary.
Steve grilled the beaver burger patties on the grill.
Cheese please!
I steamed some corn from the cob that I had blanched and froze this past summer.
Steve always has his side-kicks close by when he grills. (Or when he does anything, really.)
It is an acquired taste, I have to say, but it was interesting to try something different when everything seems to be so mundane these days.
Thanks Trapper Bob!
Sounds very interesting. Both the buns and the Burgers. 👏👏
